Is Sahaja Yoga the truth?

In the past, I saw myself as a Sahaja Yogi and placed a lot of trust in Shri Mataji and Sahaja Yoga; it became my worldview. The subtle system was very understandable, logical, interesting, and a subject of study for me. I thought I had discovered something very special here that the outside world does not know. I wanted to understand it because I believed it was very scientific and would lead to the salvation of humanity.

I believed that Shri Mataji was who she claimed to be (the Holy Spirit, Adi Shakti). I thought it was the path (the religion) that serves the salvation of humanity and comes from God. The upgrade to Christianity and Islam. Everything Shri Mataji said in her "talks" I no longer questioned.

I also made many mistakes during my time as a Sahaja Yogi, for Example, I smoked cannabis and wanted to find the truth on my own path. Because of this, I did not practice Sahaja Yoga as it should be practiced. I know it was wrong and I regret it very much and I would never take any drugs again.
Shri Mataji herself also says that drugs activate Either the right or the left channel and bring the person into spiritual areas that are forbidden.
I can confirm this and find what Shri Mataji says here completely correct. Many things she says are true and useful. Unfortunately, there is no way to say with 100% certainty whether she really is the Holy Spirit or not. Meditation works and one truly reaches a thoughtless state. Sometimes I Even have the impression that it is sacred. I do not know how that could be possible if it were only deception. On the other hand, it only works in the meditation center and never at home. It cannot be that one is dependent on a meditation center.
I have found that simple prayers are good for me and can already bring me into a good state, completely without meditation. In Christianity, God is directly accessible through personal prayer. I find it more beautiful to have a personal relationship with the Creator.

Regarding meditation, I think that although it works, it is still possible that it does not come from God, but from another source. I believe in the Christian God, and in the Bible there are many warnings against worshipping other gods or dealing with Energies.

This page I have called "Sahaja-Yoga-doubt" because I cannot say with 100% certainty what is true and what is false. Nevertheless, I do not believe that I will Ever become a Sahaja Yogi again. Something within me resists it, for the following reasons:

  1. I do not want to worship Shri Mataji — a human being — as God and kneel before her.
  2. I do not want to worship foreign gods such as Ganesha, Krishna, or nature deities like Mother Earth or the ocean.
It is incompatible with my belief in the Judeo-Christian God.
  3. I do not want to work with Energies, vibrations, or sensations whose origin I do not know
This is also incompatible with my belief in the Judeo-Christian God.
  4. Shri Mataji has often said things that are not compatible with reality, and I conclude from this that she cannot be God.
However, there must be an objective truth. Either Shri Mataji is the Holy Spirit or she is not — there is nothing in between. But unfortunately, it can neither be 100% disproven nor 100% proven.
My method of arguing that Shri Mataji is not God is by analyzing her statements. If I find false statements — things she claimed that are not true — then she cannot be God. For God cannot claim things that are false.
An Example: if someone claims to be God and at the same time seriously claims that the Earth is flat, then that person cannot be God.

On this page, I have compiled several topics from Shri Mataji’s talks where I believe I can show that what she said is incorrect. I am open to discussion and criticism, therefore I have included a comment function here.
I created this page partly for myself to process the past, but also for others who may have never questioned whether Sahaja Yoga is true or not. I am satisfied with my faith in the Judeo-Christian God and I try to grow in faith and find the right relationship with God.
